I have the honour to report with much regret

the death of ir. H. C. Sayer, Assistant Engineer on the temporer, staff of the Public Works Department which took place at the Covernment Civil Hospital at 6.b0 a.m. on the 24th. July from Pneumonia (Double).

Er. Sayer's family are residents in this Colony. I therefore considered it unnecessary to inform you of his illness by telegraph.

I enclose for your information a copy of a

report by the Superintendent, Goverment Civil Hospital.
